This picture was taken on my trip home. The Glimmerglass Opera house is within walking distance from the farm. ( about a mile and some change ) Usually listed as a Cooperstown attraction, it is in fact in Springfield, N.Y., thus avoiding some land-use issues. The new season is ready to go, tee shirts have been printed and tickets scalped. Not too shabby for a small farming community, and an opera company that started in our high school auditorium.
